(Rhymney, NY) – The sad bells of Rhymney are sounding again as citizens in their little boxes spread ticky-tacky over the shoulders of our scenic highways; with the only possible response being, “Where have all the flowers gone?”
It is indeed because of the long times of passing on the shoulders of our highways that the ticky-tacky is spreading, especially as drivers turn, turn, turn, from their lanes, often times only to become waist deep in the big muddy that used to be filled with flowers.
David Renken, a troubled citizen driving near Columbia, MD, was quoted as saying “If I had a hammer…”
Others, in defense of their actions said only, “This land is your land, this land is my land.”
This reporter asks, “What did you learn in school today?” Yet, despite this trouble, how can I keep from singing? We shall overcome.
