Apollo 13 Movie Proven Fake

(Cape Kennedy, FL) – A researcher from California State University, Fullerton, has completed and published a paper regarding realism in the 1995 docudrama Apollo 13. In the paper, John Cunningham concludes that much, if not all, of the space flight footage was faked.

His evidence for his argument includes the high quality of the footage of the liftoff sequence, impossible camera angles outside of the main capsule, the uncanny resemblance of the Apollo astronauts to Hollywood actors, and the illegal surveillance of some astronauts and their families in their private homes.

This evidence would be enough to convince most doubters, but Cunningham also found footage of the Apollo 13 astronauts on the “vomit comet,” which did not exist at the time of the original Apollo missions.

“I also saw ice falling off of the rocket during liftoff, which is absurd!” Cunningham said. “How could there be ice when the flames from the engine are so hot?”

Apollo 13 Director Ron Howard was not available for comment, but Jim Lovell, commander of the flight, remarked, “We really did fly around the moon. None of that was faked. My blood pressure is still elevated, even to this day.”

When pressed further, Lovell admitted that he wasn’t, in fact, present for the historic 1995 flight, and that the person identifying as him in the movie was actually a Hollywood actor.

“Yeah, that was Tom Hanks, not me. I was on the special features, but not in the movie. However, I would testify under oath that it was really Gene Krantz in the ground control sequences. I’d know him anywhere after all of these years. He hasn’t changed a bit.”

Cunningham received a C- for his paper from his freshman honors English teacher, but that didn’t stop him from submitting the paper to the infamous essay mill OPPapers.com. He received the going rate of $29.95 for the essay, with which he purchased a few new t-shirts for school.

For his next project, he plans to compare the pre-Gump Tom Hanks movies with those made afterwards.

“It’s not the same person,” said Cunningham. “How could a person who couldn’t act his way out of a paper bag suddenly turn into one of the finest actors in Hollywood? I think he was abducted during the Apollo 13 flight, and replaced by an alien impersonator.”
