If you have been reading the blog posts from my husband Josef for the past several weeks, you have heard some very bizarre advice and troubling stories about our family. I just have to say that he has been posting these without my permission. I finally got the password for his blog account, and I think everything is under control now.

I will be finishing the Homeschooling 101 articles myself, once I get a bit of time, as I am the one who is actually homeschooling. Josef has been voluntarily stationed on Diego Garcia for the past 10 years, and hasn’t a clue what I go through each day when I homeschool. Or, when the kids bring all sorts of reptiles, insects, crawfish, turtles, and squirrels into the house to scare me. It’s not a picnic here. I certainly don’t have time to put together an exhaustive exegetical commentary on anything, unlike my underworked husband.

If LTC Bob Smith is reading this, please don’t let Josef sign up for another stint out there. We really need him at home. There are swimming pools here, too. I also heard that there are nuclear compounds nearby, so he can be just as useful sitting in front of a monitor, waiting to push a button here, as much as he can over there. Actually, we are doing just fine living off of the trust fund that my dad left us in his will, so there is no need for either of us to work. Our income is at least three times the median for this area, and we give away more than we spend. Maybe you can convince Josef to just retire? Please try!

As far as the “commentary” that Josef is writing, he doesn’t know the slightest thing about writing commentaries. He majored in Amphibian Social Justice at the local community college, and received his certificate of merit after taking three classes. Please don’t base your understanding of the Bible on what he says.

Now, for the real news:

From now on, this blog will be devoted to book reviews!! Starting tomorrow, I will be writing reviews for books on the New York Times best seller list!
